A graduate of UNB Law School and St Thomas University, Ray was one of the founding members of Gorman Nason where he practiced law until his appointment as Chairperson of the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board (EUB) in 2007.
During his tenure at the EUB he served on various national and international energy organizations including Chair of CAMPUT (Canada’s energy and utility regulators association) and represented Canadian regulators on various committees of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).
In his practice Ray has represented clients in a broad range of practice areas including Labour & Employment, Litigation, Administrative, Bankruptcy and Energy law. He has regularly appeared before various Courts and Administrative Tribunals and chaired numerous Arbitration hearings.
Ray is a life-long resident of the Saint John region and has been actively involved in community activities.
