John has been a member of the New Brunswick Bar since 1984 and practiced in the Saint John area since then. He has been a partner with Gorman Nason since 2004.

Prior to obtaining his law degree John completed degrees in both science and physical education.

He uses his varied background and experience to his advantage in the work he does for a diverse range of clients.

John practices in multiple areas of law including: Civil and Commercial Litigation, Commercial and Residential Property, Real Estate Law, Municipal Law, Wills and Estates and Corporate and Commercial. John has distinguished himself in a number of cases, including representation for a national organization in two significant defamation actions. On the business side he has incorporated numerous companies and acted for a number of residential and commercial developers in the acquisition, development and sale of commercial and residential real estate.

John has four grown children and is a life-long resident of the Saint John region. He is well-known for his community involvement with various sports clubs and community organizations.
